Well, not every attempt can be a success, Bloggees. Case in point, my Tazo Tea Madeleines adapted from
this recipe. Please keep in mind, I have successfully created BATCHES UPON BATCHES of incredible (so humble, this Blogger) chocolate Madeleines. I know what I'm doing! It's just that those times, I used all the "normal" ingredients instead of substituting "Truvia baking blend" for real sugar. So, oops.
So, the problem with having burned-on-the-outside, semi-raw-on-the-inside Madeleines is that you can't actually eat them. Note to self: never try cooking with healthy, fake-sugar again. Just use real sugar. For everything. From now on. Forever.
Noted!
You're funny. I'm sorry that the madeleines by Madeleine didn't work out. But it sounds like you learned your lesson about FAKE sugar!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! Baking lesson learned. Always follow directions.
